Homes are measured badly, or not at all

Almost everything about a house that affects how it feels to live in — its air, its heat, its light, its noise, its fields — goes unmeasured. When it does get measured, it is usually by someone selling the fix.

Why we exist

The gap we found

People asked good questions about their homes and got bad answers. Where should the cot go? Why is this room always cold? What is that hum at night? Is the office corner dark enough to explain the headaches? Each question routed to a different trade, each trade arrived with one instrument and one product to sell, and none of them looked at the building as a whole.

Meanwhile the equipment that answers those questions properly — LiDAR scanners, spectrum analysers, radiometric thermal cameras, logging air sensors — got good and cheap at roughly the same time. What had not happened was anyone putting the outputs together into one picture a homeowner could actually read.

That last part is the work. Nine instruments produce nine piles of data; a report is what happens when someone registers them all to the same model, finds where they contradict and confirm each other, and writes down what to do about it. Four commitments, and we would rather lose work than break them

    We have nothing to sell you afterwards

    No shielding fabric, no paint, no filters, no meters, no remediation contracts, and no commission from anyone who supplies them. This is not a marketing position, it is the only structure in which our findings mean anything. A survey company that also sells the cure has an incentive to find a disease.

    We will tell you when everything is fine

    A meaningful share of our reports conclude that the home is in good shape and the client should spend nothing. Those reports are worth the fee too — often more, because they stop money going into a problem someone else said you had.

    We report measurements, not diagnoses

    We give you values, reference limits, and a clear account of what those limits do and do not represent. We do not make medical claims and we will not imply one. Where the evidence is genuinely contested, we say so and hand you the data rather than the conclusion.

    Your data stays yours

    Survey data is never sold, never shared, and never used as a marketing example without written permission. You can export everything or have it deleted, and we will confirm when it is done.

We deliberately did not build a single-issue business. The instruments overlap, the visit is the same visit, and the client who came for one layer almost always finds the value in another.

    Parents choosing where the cot goes, and wanting a considered answer about sleep environment, air, noise, light and fields.

    Clients specifically concerned about radio-frequency exposure, who get the full spectrum data, source attribution and falloff measurements they came for.

    An independent survey of a property you are about to commit to, or a before-and-after record around a renovation.

Straight answer

On radio-frequency exposure specifically

Some clients come to us worried about RF, and they get the most thorough RF measurement we know how to produce: full spectrum, per band, per room, with source attribution and distance falloff, against published reference limits.

What they also get is our honest reading of the evidence. The mainstream scientific position is that typical residential exposures sit far below the levels at which established effects occur; the research on low-level chronic exposure continues and is not unanimous. We will not tell you a number is dangerous when the evidence does not support that, and we will not dismiss your concern either. You get the measurements, the context, and the practical changes — which are usually free, and usually improve the Wi-Fi as well.

If you were hoping for a report that confirms a conclusion you have already reached, we are the wrong company, and we would rather say that now than take your money.
