The survey is half the product. The report is the other half.

Most environmental surveys end in a PDF of tables that nobody opens twice. Ours ends in a live model of your home that you can switch layers on, share with a builder, and re-open in two years when you are planning the extension.

This is a real demonstration survey of a two-bedroom flat. Switch between layers — the readings, the sources and the scale change with them.

The router in the living room dominates the whole plan. Moving it 3 m and switching the desktop to ethernet drops the living-room figure by roughly 70% at no cost.

Logged, not sampled

A number taken at 2pm on a Tuesday is not a measurement of your home

Air quality and noise are logged continuously for 24 to 72 hours. Almost every genuinely useful air quality finding we have ever produced was invisible during the site visit itself.

Inside the platform

What the report does that paper cannot

  • Layers on a real model

    Switch RF, magnetic, thermal, air, noise and daylight on and off over the same plan. Where two layers overlap is usually where the interesting finding is.

  • Readings keep their position

    Every value is tagged to a coordinate, not a room name on a form. You can see precisely where we stood, at what height, and what was switched on at the time.

  • Time, not snapshots

    Air and noise data arrive as curves across a full day-and-night cycle, so you see the overnight CO₂ climb and the 04:00 lorry rather than a single flattering number.

  • Ranked action list

    Findings resolve into actions sorted into free, cheap and project, each with the expected effect. You can tick them off, and the report tracks what is left.

  • Before and after

    Re-survey after you make changes and the platform overlays the new data on the old, so you can see whether the money actually moved the numbers.

  • Yours, and shareable

    Share a read-only link with a builder, architect, landlord or surveyor. Export the raw data and the PDF summary whenever you want. Delete it all whenever you want.

Nine layers of data are only worth anything if they end somewhere concrete. Every finding carries its evidence, its ranked actions, and — just as often — what not to do.

Bedroom ventilation is the binding constraint, not insulation

Evidence

  • CO₂ reaches 1,860 ppm at 06:10 on both logged nights with the door closed
  • Trickle vents present but painted shut on both windows
  • Surface temperature at the north reveal runs 3.1 °C below room air
  • Relative humidity peaks at 68% overnight — within 2 °C of dew point at the reveal

Recommended actions

  1. FreeSleep with the bedroom door ajar; retest yourself with the loaned meter.
  2. ~$40Free off both trickle vents and clean the seals. This alone should take the peak below 1,300 ppm.
  3. ProjectIf you are already replacing the north window, specify a larger vent area. Do not do it on its own — the payback is not there.

What not to do

Do not add insulation to that reveal before the ventilation is fixed. Warmer, wetter air against a cold surface makes condensation more likely, not less.
